I'm playing on Hard, because my highest level is 15. I also never ever play on public servers, and always set up a password-protected private one for me and my IRL friends.

I refunded it when it came out of EA after playing 90 hours.

Difficulty level means nothing on a game where grinding makes harder modes eventually easier than normal at level 1.

There's no good custom maps for KF2, just shitty open cheater maps and low effort copy paste maps. I also hope you're not one of those wankers sitting and leveling all the way up to 25 on those pesky perk leveling maps.

Nuked & Infernal Realm used to be a custom map, now they are intregrated in the official map pool.

But there are alot of shitty maps aswell i give you that.

Wish there was an official difficulty level harder than HOE because sometimes the games just go too smoothly. Game is the most fun when shit hits the fan you've gotta book it out of the camp site.

People who play at those difficulties (especially HoE) typically host their own servers and only play with their friends. For very obvious reasons, random players are notoriously shitty in Killing Floor games.

Is Killing floor 2 worth playing?

It's a different kind of fun.
1 is more methodical and zeds are slower but hit a lot harder while you have no way to counter this except blasting them.
2 is more chaotic, zeds are jumping all over the place but you can tank hits with parry and also move faster.

I just wish the crossbow wouldn't suck so much dick and the deagle would be a sharpshooter weapon again, SS was my fave class in 1 and now all I play is gunslinger.

Isn't it? The single .500 magnum benefits from Sharpshooter perks.

Those 2 more make a huge difference between reloads for clearing trash.

I preferred the hold-out style of KF1. Sitting in one spot until shit went south, then 1-2 people on the team make a break for it and do their best to solo the wave. A zerker soloing for 30 minutes wasn't fun to watch, but a commander doing his best to control FP agro while dealing with trash was neat.

I use the .500 as like a small rifle. Take out bloats and sirens and husks with a single shot to preserve M14 ammo.

Plus it's really fun to spin it around with the reload button.

That's what I do, but if the team is shit (which happens often) I get overrrun by trash. I could easlily make up for a bad team in KF1 though with the god-tier handcannon and 100% stun chance on crossbow for scrake headshots.

If you want to carry everyone as a Sharpshooter you roll with M14/Centerfire

No joke, shit is fucking powerful and the Centerfire can actually stun consistently

Zeds in KF2 not only do less damage, but they also seem to have more health on average
For example, bloats take a good few headshots to actually decap in 2
I still enjoy KF1 to this day, but a lot of my friends have moved on to 2, and 2 is spoiling me with it's nicer controls making it a tad awkward going back

Go for movement speed
You need movement speed if you have to carry everyone
