I've had countless games and I've picked inferno probably twice and I never bothered playing after the 2nd month because I hated it so much how can you possibly win

It's an update Heroes of Might and Magic 3. They added some nice staff like Flanking and really good animations.

The only thing bad about it is the "cinematic" cutscenes. (only talking and no lip movments).

The campaign is really hard even on normal and is like 50+ hours with some fairly unique quests and objectives.
btw. A magazine in my country had it for "free". Just don't buy it at steam, if you want to test it out.

All I've wanted, is to play a fucking heroes game in with a fucking simultaneous turns.

Everything before 5 just doesn't have it. In the 5, it stops at the time any player sees the smallest edge of the territory revealed by other players, it means, sim turns off 2 minutes into the game. There is a mod, that fixes that, but it's terribly unstable. The whole multiplayer of 5 is terribly unstable. 6 and 7 are shit, and I've heard they have huge problems with multiplayer too.

Is it that hard, to make multiplayer playable in any of the HoMM games?

You are a complete casual in homm if you think 5,6,7 is anywhere close to 2,3,4 in terms of gameplay.

They completely butchered the map layout with the overly large 3d models. The maps became small, only consisting of a few linear paths instead of the big open worlds of 2,3,4. There is hardly any use for more than 2 heroes for the most part and you are very limited in options and strategies.
