It's great anons.

I hate the character model.
The game looks great and all, and with the classical animations to boot.
But Lara looks out of place.

Looks out of place. Its clearly not low poly, yet its made to copy the old model.

If there is one thing to nit pick is with all the new graphics its hard to gauge where to go. Uncharted/Tomb Raider band-aid fix this with white/yellow faded paint on places.

The feeling of being lost in these big places was one of the best things about Tomb Raider. I do understand what you're talking about, though. In the originals it was easy to know where to go because of the layout and how everything was blocky, like, it was easy to know where you could jump and where you couldn't. I haven't played this yet, I will in a moment, but I hope the creator of this somehow got around this issue without having to do cheap things like what you're mentioning. And if he didn't, I hope it's not too noticeable.

also tomb raider's shitty tank controls were never good. It was preceded by Mario 64 and Quake for god's sake, smart people knew how movement in 3D was done before TR even hit shelves.

Jesus christ this game looks good. It runs so damn level though.

Some of the animations yeah look choppy and outdated, but this is seriously some AAA shit. Some textures even look better than some parts of RoTTR
