The only problem I have is something seems fucked up with the randomization because out of three campaigns I've started, one I've seen played on youtube, and one my friend's going through, there's an almost identical progression.

1st: new gatecrasher
2nd: tunnels
[optionally 3rd: story mission, but to be expected]

first supply raid is ALWAYS

This has been the case 5/5 times

I feel like they somehow shackled the random elements and forced certain mission types and events to occur in certain orders
I like all the new content they just need to fully randomize it because it definitely doesn't feel mixed up enough

Team bond is complete horseshit. Level 2 bond, one mate takes a single point of damage, sends the other into a blind panic and he starts shooting at the other squad members.

Also fuck priests. You shoot them, they go into stasis, you can't do jack-shit against them, start of their turn they wake up and potentially fuck up your day. The amount of times I've lost a squad member to a priest waking up from stasis, dropping a mind control on someone which panics the rest of the team who then friendly fire the mind controlled unit is beyond belief.

Also, the DLC is pretty damned good, but makes it way too easy to cheese the game, personally.

Reapers are insanely good. You can solo Alien Facilities with them and their scouting potential in normal missions is like a Shadow Ranger on crack.

Also depending on where the priest is I'd have to run across the map and probably trigger more pods just to deal with one cheesemonger. That or save scum so he drops instead of going into stasis.

All standard units are scripted to run for cover when flanked. He's going to move before going for the mind control if you flanked him, allowing you to kill him with the overwatch once he comes out of stasis.

Position your troops properly and priests won't ever be a problem.

Is there a mission and a character for them like the one shown in the dead city for the reapers and skirmishes? They from the previews seem not fleshed out at all. I know some anons were throwing around the idea that they were basically the remnants of Exalt. Also can you build or buy more special faction armor and weapons? I like the Stalker look and the Destiny esq look of the new armors and I haven't heard if it's limited to their troops only.

I like the lost tho.
Had a "kill enemy commander" mission in lost region and all I did was sneak around and throw claymore at it to spawn more Lost so I can overwhelm the enemy before I even have to do anything.

The new Retribution missions are a bit easy now. Rebels are killing Advent even on Legend left and right.

Are retaliation missions a joke now or is it just the ones where the rebels are helping you? I've done 2 so far and the 2nd one ended up being a bunch of scrawny rebels with basic rifles shitting all over mutons.

I did the first one with mag weapons and plated armor on commander.
The last room is actually pretty easy. You just need to position right before the fight and then focus fire. The chosen are pretty helpless in this confined space and you don't even need to kill the enemies that spawn in.

I almost lost my fully trained psi-op to this shit.

I fuckin love Alien Rulers, but I honestly don't care much about the other DLCs.

Either way, I especially like the new things you can scan on the Overworld, which gives it some new Strategy every time.
The Breakthroughs are also super interesting.
In my Opinion, this is something that can call itself an expansion than just a dlc. Since it really gives the game something new and refreshing.
The Chosen however could need a bit more tweaking. But mostlikely Mods will give it some depth
