This game relies on RNG/luck way too much. It's great fun with friends or even alone, but you can't really compete in an environment where your performance depends directly on whether you'll land next to a weapon, find a scope, find body armor and so on. I won't say there's no skill involved in trading shots (especially at longer ranges) but the shooting in this game is nothing special. Few weapons (excluding the VSS) have considerable bullet drop at all, some attachments are borderline broken while others are useless, and so on.

Lol will kill itself. It's a very good game ruined by a terrible developer.

Its one thing to beat Dota 2 which has been on the downswing for a year now, and to beat League. Dota 2 wasn't even a remotely close competitor.

Then PUBG has to compete with AAA publishers making their own with more content because they have bigger dev teams. Bluehole being Korean is pretty hard commitment for people to fly around the world to work at.
