For the most part the default controls work fine. One thing I'd recommend you change though is swap Striker and Sub so that Striker is on L1 and Sub is on R1. Makes a lot more sense because Sub won't be available if you're using a claw grip to charge a face button, but Striker will be, so you'll want the free left index finger to be able to use it.

Another useful shortcut is the right analog stick automatically does a boost dive.

sometimes it's easier to destroy 300 cost suit two times than run after 100 cost suit all the time.
