Why do people say it's hard to make a heavy gun build in NV that's not energy weapon based. I literally pumped points in logical skills related to guns and hiked to the unique minigun which is one of the easiest unique variants to obtain. Now I'm mincing enemies and it's the most fun build I've ever made. The ammo is a problem but I feel like if it wasn't then it'd be too easy. At least when I'm done with the Avenger I can switch to other weapons for some variety.

Honestly I think the story of the Mojave is over. The Courier, in the the end, is the end all be all to the story. We may continue to create and enjoy mods to expand the story, there will be no visits to the Mojave in later developments of Fallout. I hope.

There is no added dialog, i think it is done by splicing, but again, it is perfect and it made me think that they restored some lines of dialog that were lost somewhere at first but it is in fact made by the modder.

I finally did it on my last playthrough and after spending the whole game obliterating the legion, every raider/tribal gang I could but the Boomers, improving NV and the NCR, and building good relations with helpful characters I'm told that I didn't even fucking rule properly and let the Mojave run wild after suddenly crippling the NCR for no reason.

Anyone willing to help out with a bug in New Vegas? See I'm trying to have Meyers be the new sheriff of Primm, so I got him out of prison, convinced him to become sheriff if he gets a pardon, then headed to the Mojave Outpost to speak with Major Knight for a pardon, and nothing. When I speak with him, the option just isn't there, only the usual grayed out dialogue options. What gives? I even tried resetting the damn quest in console and did all the steps again and still nothing.

the biggest bug 4 had was the one involving scoping while crossing a cell load line
because of the way scopes work in their engine (its not an fov limitation it actually basically moves your eyes to a different place on the map) whenever youd cross a line while zooming in itd fuck some shit up horribly, lock up the game trying to load and unload 50 different cells at the same time then drop you in a random place on the map, usually like 20 feet above the ground where youd die instantly
it was pretty funny when it happened but still infuriating if you didnt have a recent save

That depends on what you want. If you're looking for both games smashed together, sure.

It depends. Simple mods will function just fine, but anything even remotely complex will have to be reworked to function in TOTW. Most of the "must have" mods will have versions on the forums that are compatible, but knowledge of the game engine and basic mod editing is mandatory to fix whatever problems you encounter.

Mechanically it's just the entirety of FO3 added to your copy of NV with all of the potential scripting conflicts ironed out.

It's difficult to set up, i'm not gonna lie. But if you're a fan of both games it's definitely worth trying out. Go in to it vanilla, and then look to mods once you're certain that you're willing to playtest them all.

What is the best mod and why is it Sawyer's?

Also, having played through all 4 campaigns multiple times, I can say NCR was the best. They are the only faction where you can make it so all 20+ sub endings are positive (excluding Gannon's but he literally doesn't have a single positive outcome).

There are a few side quests you can do to weed out the corruption and shit and set an example. They are clearly the best chance the wasteland has.

Caesars tumor was not doing this, it was merely pushing against his brain resulting in headaches, exhaustion and ultimately his coma and death. This. I used to be a turbo-autist about getting the best possible outcomes for each faction. My last playthrough where I actually fucking roleplayed was a fresh of breath air after that. I didn't have to keep looking at the wiki to track Arcade's Good Goy Points or drag around a companion I didn't like just so I could do their quest. Can't comment too much on this, I didn't play much with companions in 3 but I feel like that is just a blatant falsification. Once again the followers in New Vegas also have varied and complex motives and they can also accomplish their goals based on the couriers actions which also affects the game world, they also have a stringent moral code, though the courier can effect this too.

All in all a well made MSpaint strawman comic and that's why I felt the need to disprove it, but the argument provided is inherently flawed.

I'm not even going into how much better the DLC is and how it ties in far better with the mainline content while expanding far more in terms of lore and gameplay.

Tied in amazingly with the rest of New Vegas and was an interesting take on environmental/ludo-narrative storytelling. It was interesting finally getting to the bottom of Elijas
grand plan, and was a suitable payoff for his exposition. The cast was both memorable and unique and they all had secrets that were both interesting and relative to the plot.
Though I'm interested to see why you so vehemently disagree with my points.
