>advertises itself as a dinosaur game
>hasn't focused on dinosaurs since EA launch and both DLCs have been non-dinosaur related
If you can't acknowledge that they used/use dinosaurs as a bait and switch then do shitty cliche crap because they have shallow creativity you're fucking retarded.

The very first trailer featured a dragon though. And prehistoric creatures were added all throughout the EA period.

Do you really think this game wasn't marketed as a dinosaur game? Were you reading their reveals, the articles about them? "Dinosaur" this and "prehistoric" that. Their first trailer is literally 99% prehistoric shit except, yes, one dragon (fighting T. Rex's, mind you).
Then at least half the shit they added was present day animals. Bears, beavers, anglers, mantas, penguins, wolves, seagulls, to name a very, very few. Their last three fucking creatures were Griffons, Otters and Phoenix's. Both their DLCs added 0 actual dinosaurs.
Yet, their twitter bio still chooses to advertise as a "dinosaur" game, when less than half of the creatures in game are dinosaurs, not even counting the DLCs.

those are all prehistoric animals though.

I think it was advertised as a prehistoric creature game, because not every creature in the first trailer was a dinosaur. Mammoths, Sarcos, Coels, Boas. From the very beginning when we saw the dossiers you could see that they took creative liberties and didn't name the animals the exact genus, they made them their own fictional one. Almost all of the prehistoric creatures you mentioned were old mammals and such. Just because it says dinosaur on twitter doesn't mean shit.
