It's a pretty huge flaw. When I say "cinematic" I mean they put the gameplay way in the back in terms of priorities. They cut out content to resell as DLC, they couldn't even properly optimize the game to run at 60 FPS, they blatantly excluded a hard mode in the base game, and worst of all, they implement cinematic garbage like the flurry rush which trivializes combat. But they had to have voice acting because that's what every hollywood movie game has nowadays.

Overall it's a mess because of terrible priorities. And that's not even accounting for the SJW pandering, like >>388982628 points out.

And your critiques make it seem like you've never played the game. Cinematic is a bit of a buzzword here I feel. The majority of the game is in exploring the giant world, that is why everyone is praising it. It has decent to good combat areas (I thought flurry rush was bad too honestly), the game runs fine enough, and it's not like they cut things that the game needed to be amazing. It's already filled with shit so who cares? Actually playing the game is enchanting if you're into exploration but I think you expected more of a fighting/action thing.

Those black/purple eyeball enemies are useless, and the little guardians take like 2 hits.
Thus there are basically zero serious enemies in the temples except for the boss (which wasn't ever difficult - unless there was some 'trick' [goron and rito temple bosses]).

Plus, there was only generally 1 or 2 temple puzzles that required much thought.
