It still is, really. Just with short little platforming levels, a fraction compared to how many bosses there still are.

I've got reservations about the gameplay (the platforming levels in particular look like shit), but honestly the sound design is probably the biggest turnoff for me. Make your shots make some noise for fuck's sake.

Gonna buy it anyway because I want to check it out for myself, but I don't blame anybody for holding off. It clearly has tons potential, but I don't think it will live up.//

Not too hyped but I will check it out since I'm a fan of run and gun games. The levels themselves don't look bad actually although they lack intensity when it comes to enemy spawns. The bosses are a bit too simple and repetitive but maybe the higher difficulties will change that. Hope they didn't fall for the content meme and make it an hour long slog and instead kept it short and sweet like the games it's inspired by.
