i think you should learn how computers work then go to newegg and piece together a build that makes sense for you, then pricecheck all the shit on amazon, then buy the shit.
i think if in the year 20fucking17 if you need a guide to build a pc, or are stupid enough to ask /v/ of all places for advice that you should stick to prebuilts and pay the retard tax.

Side info: I'm limiting myself to $3500 and I have a blu ray drive I salvaged from a broken pc
I just built a desktop with like $500ish
3.7 ghz, 16gb ram, 4 gb video card
Its not the best, but I dont really need more.

>I don't know how computers work
Where did I say this?

>$3500
are you a fucking moron?
A modern 1000$ PC would last you 5-6 years without a single upgrade, and another 3-5 with a quick n cheap GPU purchase after that.
go to logicalincrements.com, and do some local research on prices.
Those are good specs but you should really build one yourself. It's not only easy, but its fun.
>cryptocurrency mining craze, which is thankfully coming to an end.
lol, prices are at all time highs.

where you asked a board full of retarded console playing weebs if a specific computer would be good for you, dumb nigger.
> friend asks me for advice
> wants the best monstermachine, €2000 budget
> plays Euro truck simulator and only Euro truck simulator
>tfw glad to have a working toaster with internet conection

I'm looking at this case for my next build. Do you guys think the 750D Airflow version is still a decent case in 2017? I don't think I'd need to wait for cases with usb type-c at this moment.

I got the following system last fall:
>i7 6700K
>16GB DDR4
>GTX 1070
>320GB SSD
>2TB HDD, 7200RPM
>Burning DVD/Reading BD drive
>800W 80+ Gold PSU
paid 1600€, runs practically all games at 60fps (got mere 60hz screen). Don't see a reason to go above these specs or pay more.
