I haven't played Gone Home and I'm not going to, but I will say that LiS isn't SJW. It's absolutely horrible in near every aspect, but it's not that political outside of a couple of instances. The center of the story is a poorly developed relationship between an annoying doormat and an annoying bitch. The time powers are pointless in both the narrative and gameplay and feel like a complete afterthought despite being the only interesting thing about the whole game. It fails at creating the Twin Peaks atmosphere it tries to make by having a town you can't explore along with forgettable at best and unlikable at worst supporting characters. The only thing you might say it does well is the atmosphere, though I felt that the horrible writing invaded upon any feelings of comfiness the artstyle, which is also ugly, and the music might have tried to create.
