The interviewer also mentioned how Mori was initially against doing any crossovers in the past but Mori corrects the statement as he mentions he was reluctant to do one before he finished Blazblue's current story. He took a shot in the dark to ask French Bread and Atlus and they responded positively which made him go through with the crossover. The distinction here is that UNI's story isn't concluded and their inclusion brings up why Guilty Gear hasn't been included. Mori says he's waiting for Ishiwatari's response on GG's status and if he's comfortable in the crossover but Ishiwatari has yet to give him a response and he surmises that he's probably wanting to finish GG's current story arc.

Following up on this, Mori seems to be having other lofty ideas in the future if the crossover proves successful. He particularly mentions Arcana Heart being the most realistic next choice while he wouldn't mind collabing with Nitroplus titles.

And if anyone cares about the Story Side of all this, it seems that the characters from Blazblue will be coming from the context of Centralfiction but before that story ends.

UNIEST is technically just the start of the story so doing a crossover there doesn't hurt anyone.

I still think the GG x BB crossover will be a 3D game. Whether its a 3D fighter, arena fighter or Overture 2 I don't know.

I'm not sure what the official tag for the series is or the most proper way to communicate which characters you want other than Twitter. The interviewer did mention it would be criminal to not have the four members of RWBY in there but once again, Mori emphasizes fan feedback for character inclusions
