Accessibility in video games concerns things like color-blind settings, input emulators like the XIM that allow for custom USB devices to be used with consoles.

Accessibility in games does not concern things like ensuring you have text that's readable in 480p or making sure people can play through on casual without getting frustrated, or having a feature that autocorrects your toddler's inputs to something that doesn't send their kart flying off the edge. That's fucking insulting.

And finally, they totally fail to address the cost/benefit analysis. Exactly how many sales does one lose by not having a colorblind mode or not having subtitles? How much does it cost to implement these features? These two questions combined will always be the driving force behind including or not including features for handicapped players.
