I know a lot of you don't keep up with DDON but they gave us a hint for a new vocation they're working on

this game is pretty fun, i hope there is a sequel that improves on it. a little more enemy variety, bigger map, etc. it does combat, pawns, dungeons, etc really well. it feels like an adventure. i wish mobas played like this game.

I don't know why. That guy throwing punches in my pic is very aggressive. Seen him fight a different NPC each day, including Mason at one point.

I've seen guys like Guston (blonde prick who swings his arms like gorilla and insults your pawns) get into fights too, so I'm guessing it's to give the more brutish NPC's more personality? The pic I posted was a stupid fight because only Yellow Hat was attacking. Hood guy just stood there, so Yellow Hat would stumble back and groan like he'd been hurt even though nothing was attacking him.

Two guys sometimes fight during Chasing Shadows, too. You'll see it in the cutscene when Julien is heading to the slums area.

Really dreading Duchess in Distress on Hard Mode. I'm a sorcerer and for whatever reason, I had trouble with it in my last playthrough. Aelinore wouldn't stay back just kept being focused and stunlocked by those Mystic Knight fuckers. I ended up having to grab her and run from them. I hope they don't hit me too hard.

Only reason I'm doing it is because my pawn and a lot of pawns I hire seem to have poor knowledge of the Manse, so I want to help.

I like the mechanic of the higher dragonforging tiers. Even mid and low tier armors can get very decent stats if you bother trying to upgrade them.

I use the change appearance mod often, but the details are
face shape 28, eyes 3, brows 35, nose 13, lips 20, torse 8, arms 9, legs 2.
the pic related has mouth switched to 26 and eyes to 2 instead. makeup is 9.

the most important things are the sliders. I position the eyes down max and the lips 2nd highest, for example. makes a derp pawn much better after messing with it for awhile.

BBI is just filled with dragonkins so even if you don't have the materials for higher-tier upgradings you'll still get everything dragonforged in no time.

It's funny how no other game has managed to give me a more profound feel than Dragon's Dogma has managed to do. It really was a very well done ending and I did feel an ambivalent sadness for my Arisen, the people and Gran Soren, and Savan himself. It's just melancholy to see someone so eager to die that you can't help but feel sympathetic for and pity him while at the same time thinking of the same dark tragedy to befall your own Arisen. The Cassardi music gently playing in the background and seeing the faces of the denizens of Gran Soren one last time truly made the decision hard and no game has ever managed to capture that feeling in such an organic, humble and non-overstated way.

How do I force a respawn of enemies in Bitterback? Specifically the very first area where death can spawn. I want to basically get Saurians since it's attracted by their corpses, but I get goblins and have no idea on how to make enemies respawn and shuffle back to saurians.

I love the pawn hiring system in this game. Always feels good when someone hires your pawn and gives them good ratings.

Does anyone know if hired pawns earn their Arisen more RC if they're recruited in Hard Mode? I've been sending out gifts like Veteran's Periapts/Golden Talismans, but I know you need a lot of RC for BBI, so I'm wondering if my hires are helping out more in that regard.

It's only (You) if you play offline. And the point is you didn't actually end the cycle, you just continued it. If Savan is anything to go by, he too tried to kill himself with the Godsbane but ascended to Seneschal anyway (hence why he pulls the Godsbane directly out of his heart).

Seneschals are the keepers of their respective worlds and can spawn anything they wish. When the Seneschal's fire is fading he creates the Dragon if he needs to. The reason Arisen turn into the Dragon if they die from the Seneschal is because the Seneschal needs a successor, where this Arisen failed he will find the next one.

You have to wonder how shitty the job of seneschal is if the current one keeps trying to hand off their job so they can finally die. I'd imagine that rather than killing yourself, the real way to end or at the very least delay the cycle would be to find an arisen who was okay with the position and would take it seriously.

Your Arisen ascends to Seneschal and breathes new life into the world because he/she is a fountain head of Will and courage. When the "fire" of your Arisen's life starts to fade and the world grows cold the Dragon is sent into the world to find a replacement.

Basically, think of the Seneschal as a torch that keeps the world bright and warm and good for life. When the torch starts to fade a replacement must be found, the Arisen are troches themselves that must prove themselves worthy of being "the" torch.
