and if by 'costume' you mean, well, costumes, coatless DMC1 Dante in DMC3 is the absolute GOAT, especially with the Rebellion/Beowulf loadout. Looks stylish as fuck. If you mean Dante's design, then DMC2 obviously, although I really dig ultra-red-Dante from DMC1.

Yeah I thought that the original trailer seemed more interesting just on the merit of being somewhat unique.
I remember reading that you where also supposed to have levels where you play as young Donte, that's probably why there where scenes of him getting interrogated as a kid.

Should I give 3 another try? I beat the first 2 back to back waiting for it to get as good as these threads make them seem and was bored as fuck through most of it. Started up 3 and the first bit felt the exact same and just turned off the console, this was over a year ago.
