Hell yeah, the game literally made me want to break out the old wii and play rabbids go home again. It made me that nostalgiac.

I just got Luigi. I'm liking it a lot so far. The talent trees look like they will add an interesting feel as well, since I was beginning to worry Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Luigi were too similar

I disagree, game is fucking hard, which is odd considering how child-friendly it appears.

Weirdest surprise of the year for sure.

Game needed another chapter. You don't get the last two characters until 90% of the game is ogre.

I guess there's always the challenge maps.

The best game I've played this year.

Remember how Rabbids was a Rayman game, but in the sequels they gutted Rayman?

They should do that again with this, but get rid of the Rabbids this time.

For challenge one: Peach, Mario, Rabbid Yoshi. Peach can heal and has very good range and damage with both her grande and shotgun. Rabbid Yoshi can tackle multiple targets and also has good range and damage. Can also rush in with his shield without taking ANY damage and can fend of Bwaluigi with his scream.

Challenge 2: Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi and Mario. Rabbid Peach can heal and can use the sentry to get some very good damage long range. Rabbid Luigi can also heal with his vamp (got 408hp back to Mario after shooting a vamped enemy). Also has good AOE with both weaken and his bazooka and the BEST tackle damage.

Challenge 3: Luigi, Rabbid Peach and Mario. Luigi is THE character to have when you need to reach an area. He can run 9 blocks and jump 20 with double team jump. Rabbid Peach is used again for healing if needed and because she has the furthest team jump of all the rabbids.

Challenge 4: Mario, Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach. Rabbid Mario is great because he's a powerhouse. Knock down multiple enemies with an explosive rush then finish them of with a hammer or shotgun blast. Rabbid Peach for Healing and the very devastating sentry she has.

A tip. Use M-power and hero sight often. The key to these challenges is to take out as many enemies as possible each round. If you have a choice of killing or damaging ALWAYS kill. Be one step ahead and down the enemies ASAP. As for challenge 3, just run with Luigi with Rabbid Peach behind him.

Yeah, those suck (not because they're boring, just annoying to keep Toad/Toadette in check while constantly moving them forward). Just wait till you get to the final one of those. Took me almost 2 hours to complete. Not because of failure but because there's a ton of enemies to fend of and Toad moves slow. Once the enemies get Toad in his sight they'll just go to town on him till his deader than dead.

It's not super difficult, but it's more difficult than I expected. I've just gotten to the 3rd world and 100% the first world (challenges, etc.), and have Perfected everything so far.

The hardest missions by far are the escort ones. Other than that it's not too rough, but they do throw some wrinkles now and then that keeps things fresh.

Overall I'm really enjoying my time with it. I love the polish and how the overwatch sounds and camera movement is just like xcom.

I find rabid peach completely underwhelming, the only thing going for her is her fatty heal, but the party can get by with gaining back health from Vampirism in like 90% of the content.
And for escort missions I would rather take regular Peach because of her better offensive capabilities on top of getting a "free" heal every turn.

Luigi is pretty good, I would probably use him myself but Rabbid Mario are Rabbid Luigi are both just too good. Due to magnet + high damage and vampire dash respectively

idk, rabbid peach has ridiculously powerful dashes, and she can hit 4 people at once. To be fair, rabbid luigi and rabbid mario are really good as well, but I prefer rabbid peach at the moment.

my rule for escort missions is to always move as far forward towards the goal as you can with Toad. You have enough health to survive a turn or two in the open, and you can bring the peaches to provide healing if necessary
