not him but i have it and use it every day on the shitter. i put cyanogenmod on it, i installed f-droid as my package app, and finally "brightness widget" for a free opensource way to turn off the godawful "dynamic brightness" and keep it fully bright. it has trouble running many emulators so you have to go for lightweight ones but there are those available, snes9x is foss and runs well, md.emu is i think paid genesis emulator but i pirated it (its foss software they are selling i dont really feel so bad about it). the whole .emu branch actually runs well. i play mario and luigi superstar saga, sonic 3 complete, stuff like that. it can run ps1 emulators but only a specific paid app that i couldn't figure out how to pirate, nothing more really. it can however play sonic 1 and 2 remakes as well as a few more games but i couldn't justify installing them because they took all the shitty phones space so i just play the genesis versions

Probably more powerful than the Switch lol. Not much of a leap though.
