You decide on what games to buy based on steam reviews?

>he buys games with <85% positive reviews
>>388919420
Sure, maybe. I don't look. Steam reviews are utterly worthless.
You might as well buy games based on which ones are being streamed the most on twitch or which attract the most shitposting on /v/.

you know that shit is actually more useful than 90% reviews

People can talk about things if they want to. Go do your homework and you can play Overwatch for 30 more minutes

spotted the 12 year old. don't worry bud you'll grow out of your "SO RANDOM LMAO" phase one day, most of us went through it at one point

If the trailer looks good and I scroll down to see a wall of red, I likely won't buy it. Sure they can be helpful. Another example would be a negative review complaining about genre-specific features like time-management or permadeath and a positive from somebody who actually likes the genre/niche assessing it from that position.

Woah..

I put a negative review for every game, even if I like it. It's fun seeing csgo and dots 2 fags getting mad when you put "this game is garbage" in the review
>>388920459
Shut up fag.
>>388920616
i mean it's not really that black and white. but a lot of the times people give games lower scores for reasons i disagree with, shit like '' too hard '' or other gameplay things that don't bother me personally. and people overexaggerate about negative stuff a lot.
of course if a game has a lot of neg reviews that's probably a good indication that it's a shit game. but not everything under 85% positive reviews is garbage like that guy jokingly said lol.
tldr: a lot of gamers are dumb and i don't agree with them on what makes games fun/challenging

reddit is a disease that needs to be purged.
