The combat is arguably the best in the series. If you want shit combat, play Syndicate.

It's pretty good. I enjoyed it more than Witcher 3 which I felt was more Ass Creed than Unity.

The only thing "wrong" with it is that the characters and story are kinda weak. Other than that it's pretty good. Combat is the best in the series, free running can be janky every so often but works well and allows you to traverse the game world with ease, graphically it's gorgeous and aesthetically it's very pleasing. Level design is really good too, very open. The collectathon stuff is still there if you're into that too. What makes the game special for me is how once the tutorial is finished you can just access the whole map. No being walled off like in previous games, you just get to explore the whole city. So I just went around getting all the viewpoints, opening as many chests as I could and completing all the side content before actually starting the story. Needless to say I was insanely overleveled but that's how I like to play.

So yeah, pretty good game.

It's the only asscreed that made me enjoy walking at street level so that tells something.
Don't play it without the patches though.

even with the bug fixes, it's still unoptimized for my pc and it still crashes after playing 10 min on it because overheat

its only real problem was the shitty launch, but now that thats long over, its easily the best game in the entire series in every way except story (and even then its pretty ok)

it also added crouching so even if the rest of the game caused nausea and back pain itd still be the best

Lack of cool coop stuff like in the trailers, the later coop missions are mostly just waiting for the disguise cooldown to get past people

Nothing is wrong with it. It's always praised in AssCreed threads on /v/. Just finished 100% finished it myself, and it was great for the most part. Just way too many filler collectibles
