The DI team was also having a pain in the ass with Disney wanting to shove in characters to advertise their movies and then Marvel having a fit about letting DI freely have rights to Marvel characters which is why they can only cross over int he Toy Box. Yeah, the worst part is that 4.0 was going to have way more new figures that people wanted including some 4 inch statues with really good sculpts for adult collectors, Marvel, Disney, and Star Wars were actually going to pair together in the main story mode because they finally got their sticks out of their collective asses, they were going to tweak the gameplay some more to make it not as barebones as it felt, etc. Moana and Rogue One were supposed to have figures, Peter Pan was literally in production for release by the next month from when they were canned, Goofy was supposed to finally get a figure, etc.

It's just really depressing since they improved with each game and listened to complaints and criticisms but Disney just wanted to look good for investors.
