that's how Japanese marketing is. Look at just about every single female character from ANY Japanese game, seriously.
The story is unexpectedly unique and mature, or at least more mature than most M rated games are. The puzzles are also really fun

It's slightly less silly than persona and the puzzles are suprisingly enjoyable, give it a shot if that sounds good to you.
You can even emulate the thing as of now, I've just beaten the game on emulator yesterday.

Making console games is factually easier since its just one set of hardware. PC ports need to be tested on an unlimited setup of different hardware...now that they are owned by Sega however, a pc port from sega of europe is definitely a possibility.
