>you can build a computer twice as fast for the same price
>motherboards from prebuilts are from literal chinese sweatshops (see link)

>shitty psu's that will kill your computer when guarantee expires
>guarantee applies to the whole computer, not for each part (example: webcam dies, you have to send your whole computer back)

can my system support a 1070?
Winter is going to be so comfy

It's great for what I needed it for, a lot of space at a good price point. Transfer speeds are pretty nice as well. I archive a lot of shit (hence all the external drives), I just recently made a 32TB NAS server to store even more shit onto.

Yes. Get another 8gb of ram.

I'm out. you people are dumb. that is a retarded upgrade from the 1060 you already have. kys familiy
Is it worth upgrading from a GTX1060 to a 1070?

All computer monitors are LCD. "LED" refers to an LCD monitor that is backlit by LED lights rather than a CFL tube
I think the main thing you should decide is if you have any desire to game above 60 fps. Higher refresh rates are great, but many games still don't support going above 60 fps without having physics problems. You also need a GPU that can handle it. For instance, if you're struggling to push 60 fps in a game, it will obviously won't do you any good to have a monitor that refreshes higher since you won't get the framerate anyway. 1070 is pretty good, but in anything like the Witcher 3 or something of that level of graphics, you will probably be hitting shy of 60 fps if you're on ultra settings. And obviously this applies moreso if you go for resolutions above 1080p.
IPS vs TN is something else you should consider. IPS has much better color accuracy, the image pops a lot more whereas TN can look very washed out, especially when viewed at angles. IPS used to have poorer response time, but that's really not relevant anymore in 2017 (response time is also NOT the same as input lag, so don't let anyone sell you a TN based on the fact that it's less laggy)
I would recommend against both 4K and ultrawide. They are memes. You don't really have a GPU for 4K either

What's a good high refresh IPS monitor then?
