amerifat here, never had an issue though I've only used play-asia a couple times. I'd imagine that company in particular is well known by customs agents so there 's less bullshit to go through, but that's me talking out of my ass.

I hear Neowiz is planning on releasing the game in NA/EU via Digital only. So thats pretty much whats keeping me from doing the Play Asia order... that and I'm sure Mr. Harvey is causing havoc on US delivery times.

I preordered Respect from Play Asia. Took like 2 weeks to get to the West Coast. Game is awesome, especially if you've been playing since the PC or PSP originals.

Sorry about the reddit link, but the Arcsys part came true, so thats why I'm catious about importing too. I bought Future Tone Digitally via Japanese PSN, and BOOM, a month or two later, the NA version was announced and I felt like I wasted money in the long run.

The US has it pretty good with customs, where I'm at(Netherlands) you get charged if you go over 22 yuropoors, although if it's from another EU country it's duty free. In my experience it goes like this:

>Japan import: get charged irregularly for anything marked as merchandise over 22 EUR, very rarely for anything marked as gift
>China import: same as Japan but packages slip through less often
>USA import: get charged literally every time, marked gift or no they don't give a shit

Large sites like Play-Asia will always mark as merchandise, but most private sellers I've come across are nice enough to mark as gift and keep declared value under 40 EUR.

Do you just go to your local post office with some kind of notice that your being charged them and pay them there? Or do you have to do the pain in the ass path of LITERALLY having to drive out to the post office it was stopped at regardless if it's 7 hours away or so?

Not him, but I asked the same question to a rep on Play Asia and was told you need a Singapore account to redeem Eng Asia codes and DLC. I got the Day one edition of SRW: V in today that came with a DLC/theme code and I had to enter it into my Singapore account.

I forgot to mention, some Asian English DLC is region/account locked. My preorder bonus DLC for Gundam Breaker did NOT show up when I played the game on my US account, but it was there for my Singapore account. I think it varies from game to game though.

Complete retard here: I tried to buy a game through Play-Asia with Paypal, but it kept directing me to Paypal in pure Chinese, and I couldn't make heads or tails of it. So I imported the title, Gundam Breaker 3, through Amazon instead. It was more expensive but the site was in English so it was worth it. No customs, no worries. No different than buying anything else.

Yes the DLC and game will work on any account. But you have to buy the DLC on the region the game is from. After that the DLC should be registered on game itself.

I think you can make EVERY account the primary account. The option is there to ensure one account doesn't get to auto download on multiple consoles.

Incredibly unlikely what if question.

If you have a ps4 activated as your primary one for an account that isn't in english (Like Japan) and it breaks before you have a chance to deactivate it, what happens then? How can you remove the activation from that? Will just calling your regions PSN to have them manually do that for all regions that psn is tied to? Because I don't know japanese, or how to do it on other english speaking account languages.
