-22 or 24 base
-no more clones like the SSBs which are bonus
-half heroes, half antagonists
-story mode is set during Super
-Super can only offer Beerus, Hit, Black and Merged Zamasu so we know we're getting at least 2 Z era henchmen
-Devs want unique style so that can bring Dabura, Nappa, 19 or 20, Ginyu, etc
-Hero side's only locks left are Ultimate Gohan(leaked) and Gotenks. That leaves the other 3 spots left for Vegito, Yamcha and Tien since there's no one else to fill them
-Other females chances are slim as confirmed by producer

It's not perfect, and I agree it's pretty crappy unless you prefer dubs, but the length and filler found in Z can really hurt someone's enjoyment of it. I think it's sort of required for the follow up air dash everyone has but really there's no reason they can't bullshit it with baby Gamera or him spinning his staff to fly long enough to do it. The not-flying thing is really just one of those dumb criteria things rosterfags always make up for every fighting game before release so they can try and narrow down and more easily predict who will be in it. It's such a simple thing to workaround though so I don't get why they're fixated on it as a sticking point as to why some characters might not make it. If ArcSys wants Roshi or any other flightless fighter in they'll find a way around it.

Im a fan of Broly..you just gotta have him. Though it's weird singling him out of the vast variety of other movie characters but we all love our super saiyans right? Though I'm hoping for a big roster I'm also hoping for movie characters released as DLC.

2. Bardock
Still we may need a classic Saiyan (one prefereably without yellow, green, and blue hair, one with their natural look)
Bardock is the most popular one out of the classic saiyans (beating out Radditz and Nappa) and he seems like a cool character to play as to me..

3. Master Roshi/Jackie Chun

4. Dabura with Badidi cameo
Out off all the character talk about either Yamcha or Tien being in the game, none can stand close to Dabura. He's part of the Buu saga and he holds a sword. I like Janemba a lot better but I'll be more satisfied if they added Dabura over him (since you know, he can actually talk in the intros)
