Zelda may be a remake but the 3DS Pokemon games are genuinely some of the most rancid excuses for RPGs or Pokemon games I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing.

All of XY is completely fucking sick with "see you in the sequel :^)" moments and then they canceled Z. Do yourself a favor and replay Pt/HGSS/BW2 (Even fucking Diamond or Pearl, honestly) over any of the 3DS Pokemon games.

Do you like multiplayer in Pokemon, but don't care much about the ORAS-exclusive Megas? Go with Pokemon Y. Even though ORAS is the best multiplayer Pokemon game of the three 3DS games, XY has trainer customization, which isn't in ORAS.
If you like Pokemon for single player, go with Zelda instead, and trade in Y. You probably won't enjoy any of the 3DS titles if that's the case.
