I bought a PS4 recently and Crash was one of the games I really wanted, but I just can't bring myself to shell out 40 bucks for 3 games I've already played so many times, no matter how excellent they are. I've been checking ebay hoping to grab a copy for much cheaper, but fuck the return rate for this game must like 1% cuz most of the ones I see are in the 35 to 50 dollar range.

Road to Nowhere is legit easier on PS1 but everything else is about the same. Gem requirements were brutal before, since every gem followed N. Sane's Colored Gem rules. I'm sure you could've done it then if you were like me and this was the only game you really had back then.

There's a lot of games he can buy afterward, exclusives or not. He can buy crash first and then uncharted 4, tlou remastered (considering he didn't have a ps3), bloodborne, dark souls 3, yakuza 0, persona 5, etc, etc. Buying a ps4 is definetely worth it if you have a job and can afford it.

The PS4's capabilities as an excellent Bluray player and its ability to use Netflix and other such streaming services alone makes it worth buying. The fact that Crash Bandicoot 1 remaster is fucking excellent is just icing on the cake. The other two remasters are kinda crap tho, but I'd still say the game is worth it.
