Should I pick up Vice City or San Andreas

San Andreas is the superior game in every regard. You haven't played either so SA easily.

Also SA has the best mods, SAMP and MTA are fun as fuck too.

I just finished playing through all the 3D Universe games chronologically and I highly recommend trying that. It's really neat to see all the stories play out like that and realize how interconnected they are.

SA is a fucking clusterfuck, it spread itself way too thin and thus is absolutely loaded with half-baked ideas which should have been left out entirely. The whole RPG aspect is dogshit and tiresome, the tacked on turf-war mini game that completely dominates the second half of the game is poorly implemented and frustrating, there are loads of out of place one-off gimmick missions that introduce mechanics only to completely abandon them in the main story (that stealth one is a particular offender).

It has a decent story and is fun to fuck around in, but its weighed down with so much pointless garbage.
