In the prequel, she betrays Handsome Jack (the antagonist from Borderlands 2), causing him to get pissed off and swear vengeance against vault hunters (the protags). Jack was already on his way to being evil halfway through the game though. The Pre-Sequel basically shows you he does not cope well under stress on his own at all and he deals with it by grasping for more power and control than he can handle and killing innocent people out of impatience and paranoia.

And the game didn't even cover all of the shit he put Angel through behind the scenes before the Pre-Sequel even happened, which you found out about at the end of Borderlands 2.

Lillith is a bitch at the end of the day, but she still made the right choices given the circumstances. Moral ambiguity is simply a consequence of her decision making and debates like this are exactly what the writers of the series want you feel because you're still talking about it three years later.

I guess it could possibly piss off fans of these long running series but I've played so much games and I feel many franchises just need complete reworking on their overall stories that they have told.

My first playthrough of BL2 was playing as Zer0 because I mained Mordecai. Probably the biggest mistake I ever made because he's so goddamn fucking squishy. Also in BL1, finding a gun was pretty easy, but in 2, the only worthwhile shit you'd ever find were from the golden chest thing. Shops were also made entirely useless, and the """""balance""""" was completely and utterly laughable.

The whole tone went to shit. Borderlands 1 was lonely and cynical, the whole planet was a barren wasteland populated by maniacs and the dregs of civilization, kind of like Starcraft 1 meets Mad Max. It wasn't afraid to be bleak and depressing. The friendly old yokel you meet ten minutes into the game gets hanged by bandits when you leave him later on. The enemies you fought could be genuinely scary, bandits talked about how you would squeal as they cooked you instead of yelling at you for looking at their waifu shotgun. It only really attempted to add in "ha ha" humor in the DLC expansions.

2 went out of its way to soften things up and make everything wackier, to the point of almost completely removing the gore. Only a few elements of the original tone managed to wriggle their way to the surface, shit like pic related.

I was thinking about a playable Nomad whose special ability works by calling in disposable reinforcements. Maybe you'd have a bigger troop transport version of the Buzzard fly in and drop off some guys. It'd be kinda like Republic Commando, directing them where to deploy and where to move, what target to shoot, etc. Have one tree focus on enhancing that by letting you call in more guys and by upgrading them to the badass variants and shit, or by choosing what kind of guns they'll have. TPS's fuckups are more on the Australian sect that the game got pawned off on. The main game just annoyed me since:

I loved borderlands 1, played the shit out of it back then.
The only drawback was no friends to play it with so just played with randoms and xbox360 so >paying for online
Along with the fact that for some reason after the dlc with crawmerax popped up, people started getting overloaded modded guns that'd one shot everything and lag the entire game from bullets at times.

Made me demotivated to even play the game anymore till I eventually stopped even using my 360 cause of >paying for xbox LIVE

I'm hoping in 3 if we have bandits or bandit analogues they'll still be uneducated chucklefucks like in 2, but played straightfaced like in 1, with the end result being basically like the Terrans from Starcraft.

I had my game set to public just to see some people and some level 72 guy jumped in and dropped a weapon that did about 162,000 damage. Is that hacked or is stuff that high level just like that?
