If you are talking on playing a game over time total I spent a shitload on Soul Calibur 2/House of the Dead 2/Wangan Midnight 3 in the arcades. Easily a couple thousand on Wangan Midnight. Enough to have 1000 wins on Soul Calibur 2 (but keep in mind the game fights for you when you aren't there). And I can 1cc House of the Dead 2 with my eyes closed.

Aside form arcade games, I bought the Season Pass for Gears of War 3 which made the game about $100. Only Season Pass I've ever bought but since we STILL play that shit us college bros eventhough we are like 30 its well spent. But as far as JUST a game thats 75 dollars for Devils Third because I didn't wait for a reprint because I'm a fucking dumbass.

The Kickstarter? I don't know. The game and rewards aren't out yet. It's probably the first and last Kickstarter I'll ever donate to. Not because it's taking too long or anything like that, but because it's probably the only studio I would trust with the money. They seem to be genuinely interested in making art rather than selling copies, which I find extremely commendable in this industry.

Art Book. That's really the main reason I backed. The concept art for the game looks really pretty and I want the extra bit of world building that the book will provide. The whole fucking game just feels so familiar. The steppe town feels like some forgotten place that I've been or imagined as a kid. I feel a strange connection to the game and I feel like it's worth a bit of extra money to me.
