Have you ever played a game so scary/creepy that you had to quit?
Are you going to quit that game just like you quit everything else in life

People trapped in machines creeps me out. I was cringing so hard
>>388861976
Man up wuss. Put you big boy britches on and finish the game.

???
I'm only at hideout 2 in Darkwood and things usually don't break in but sitting in a corner with the lights off and a Banshee stomping about warrants a break.
Scared to shit everything around because of this teleporting things. But finished the game!on youtube:3

That guy who was laying next to that lever you're supposed to pull got me to nope out. Is the game worth it to play it through?
>>388862596
If you are a narrative kind of guy. The actual gameplay falls flat, even more then Frictional's earlier games, but the story is pretty good.
Not since I was 13. If videogames manage to still scare you enough to quit, you're either a child or you've played less than 20 videogames.

Can't you see the monster (if there is one) since the game is 2d? Or do you have to point at it with the flashlight?
>>388862803
I don't get scared, it's just that certain things really creep me out. I guess I have a pretty bad case of phobia of being trapped in something
I downloaded that Scp game and I couldn't get very far. I hate jump scares
Soma wasn't a tenth as scary as Amnesia, but it was much cooler and more immersive. Really cool game.
Someone who posted in a thread like this nailed it when he said the ending should have been switched withgoing to the ark first and then cutting to them arguing still underwater

>"boo hoo"

>"i wish someone would kill me"
>mfw gordon actually kills him

this is now a bean thread

That's been going back and forth for a while, I think that may have been the original plan but comes across as extremely nihilistic.
With the way they do it it makes you feel as if you've earned a somewhat happy ending which makes it feel haunting rather than totally depressing
>>388863120
Agreed. I haven't finished Amnesia. Too scary for me. Soma was cool, even though the ending was predictable.

I'M GRUB BREEN GORDY

only a HL2 mod did that to me.
>Play Get a life
>haha get a life get it?
>have loads of fun with all the new mechanics
>the game turns into a fucking survival horror game
>all the headcrabs are made into giant spiders that leap at you
>flashlight is a separate weapon, so you can't fight while having it equipped
>mfw
Are you ready for peak humor?

This game isn't scary at all wtf are you talking about just run through faggot
>>388866571
you'll die, I guarantee it
>>388866653
I died twice I think. Both on that one section where you need to update the card for the elevator.
>>388866749
Mainly because It took awhile just to find out were to upgrade it.
>>388866653
Not really. I (not him) played this game through at my friend's place in a couple of hours. I mostly just ran through, now granted a couple of times I was forced to hide for ten seconds to wait until he passed and just kept running. It's like amnesia, where you realize dying has little to no repercussions, you can just run on through.

they were not trapped in machines anon, they believed they were still human even on robot bodies.
Both fatal frame 3 and pathologic managed to scare me off.
Played many other horror games to completion though. Those two just really fucking got me.
>>388861976
Since you're using word creepy you probably mean in traditional sense. Soma is neither scary or creepy.
>>388861976
I've not played since I first incountered the donner kebab monsters at the mainframe.
