Seriously though, just career-wise can you really blame him for doing whatever it takes to get people to watch his shit (aka selling out)? Gamers don't sit around and watch the news much. A lot of the information is passed around through friends, not by religiously reading kotaku or some shit. Journalists in this field who want to make a name for themselves pretty much have to either create dramatic narratives for devs by exaggerating the truth, or by having a weird as fuck fake personality. So his endgame is just making Geoff Keighley a household name in gaming. He's kind of already done it, so props to him. I know who he is but have only seen like 5 minutes of his actual reporting.
