That's honestly no excuse. DiRT 4 has nothing on 2 even though they could have easily stuffed a greater range of variety into the game. The physics and gameplay are mostly on-point, it's the lack of interesting stuff to do that kills it (and the fact Rallycross still tries to imitate the real sport like Rally did as opposed to DiRT 2's "get out there and race" approach).

GRID's alright but the fun doesn't seem to last forever. As the events get longer it doesn't feel as engaging to play.

I preferred the lower ranks than the later races, to be honest.

Most modern day JRPG are a chore because of arbitrary mechanic choices that make no fucking sense to anyone who would play the fucking game for at least 5 minutes.
Arguably most jap games suffer from weird decisions, like no one sit for a minute and considered how to make shit better instead of just barely work.
