The problem is that half of the develpper market doesn't make FPS games (JAPAN). 3rd person view and RPGs are big there. Splatoon 2 is pretty awesome.

Also I've still yet to try Gigantic and Siege is still a ton of fun. There's a lot FPS games on the market now, unsure how anyone wouldn't find something with a small player base to play.
