It was only a joke back then
nu-/v/ would defend this
DLC is now standard. Announcing DLC before the game is out is now the standard. Season passes are a thing. People don't care. Fuck everything.

At times, they fucking beg for it.
How far we have fallen.
You are guilty of it, arent you?
paid mods will be the standard in the future
>>388820389
>we will live in an era where you can illegally pirate mods to fix basic gameplay bugs
What a time to be alive.
>>388820368
Yeah. Used to buy expansion sets religiously. Some might not agree, but they were the first steps into the cut and locked sections.
Why does anyone even care?
It's for consoles, they can't stop normal mods on pc
Would never pay for it, but I honestly did want my horse to wear matching or contrasting armor.
>>388819938
>all this time
>modders still haven't made a free version with more and better looking armours
pretty giggle-worthy.
>>388820703
They can if the modders jump ship for stuff like the Creation bullshit. At most, we'll see an increase of pirated mods but I'm sure Bethesda is going to crack down on places like Nexus. Either they move with the program or Bethesda obliterates them.
it is all because of greed. That is why piracy is justified when it comes to companies selling DLCs, season passes etcetera
>>388819938
If it was a joke, they wouldn't have charged money for it.

As much as I hate the modern DLC practises. It still doesn't even compare to people paying the platform provider to unlock their hardware and allow them to play online again.
At the very least with DLC you technically purchase something. With this online play crap it's not even that.
its just a dlc prank bro
