I legit cannot think of a single fighting game that has Touch-of-Death level damage on its combos where the neutral is played like this. From ST to Marvel 3, games with high damage are generally played highly aggressively unless you're specifically playing a keepaway character (Dhalsim and Morrigan for those respective games).

You're describing games with more methodical, footsie-based gameplay, which is definitely one of those things that's more fun to play than watch usually, but rarely do I see that extreme to that extent without it at least being tense. The closest to that in the modern era of fighters is probably SFV with its heavy reliance on counter-hits and such, and even then you get aggressive characters that go in played pretty often.

I'm American but not a yank. I care about English dubs because the represent the importance of NA/EU sales in the current Anime/Anime Game market. If a title doesn't get quality dubs and is thus panned by westerners, it lowers chances that we'll continue getting more titles localized in the US/EU.

I can't speak moon, and I don't mind subtitles. But we are the exception to the rule. Most people don't want subtitles. They want a game in their native tongue.

The quality of dubbing going down due to Sony fixing pricing beyond reasonable means is going to directly impact gaming availability in the west. It isn't like when American voice actors strike that work for American games.

Basically every other DBZ game is a silly anime game. The whole appeal of DBFZ is that it's a more traditional fighter balanced for competitive play with the fanservice being mostly visual in terms of ripping moves straight from the source.

Also Freeza says he hadn't been beaten other than by his mother and father during his Mecha Freeza episode.

So yes their race has genders and no we don't have concrete evidence to Freeza's gender. It appears Toriyama originally thought of Freeza as a female then later forgot and thought of it as male.

That's only true for Zarbon and Zangya.

Ultimate Gohan is pretty much lock regardless what you think of him. He can also have Explosive Madan, Kiai Cannon, Lightning Kick from the old 2D games, and Burst Rush as a counter ultimate.

Chi-Chi is unlikely but she would definitely make a fun and unique addition if they did something to what Super DBZ did. Give her some moves she doesn't really use but make sense to her character and compliment her abilities... like give her the Bansho Fan and have her use the Power Slugger as a super. She also fits the chinese Kung Fu girl (ala Chun-Li from Street Fighter and Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken) perfectly.

Captain Ginyu can switch bodies (like swap health and ki gauges with the opponent), dig into the ground like a groundhog, and he can call upon any of the other Ginyu Force members for assists like #18 does with #17 for some of her moves.

Super is really bad, I mean like completely awful, only two episodes have been any good.

I liked GT a lot, up until Baby showed up. Then it was ruined. But the Dragon fights kinda made up for it, until it turned into an edge fest with Omega Shitdog.

Had a DB vibe with all the villains that had wacky powers.
