It's the Alliance of Humans and Elves vs. the Dark Alliance of Undead Humans and Edgy Elves.

Taking racials out of the equations, Horde. Dwarves are great and I honestly don't mind the furries that much, but picking humans in a fantasy game is aids and gnomes are terrible. On the flip side, Horde has the faggiest of all races, but also has Goblins and Trolls.

It depends, there's a lot of randomness involved in loot and the awful legendary system but neither one is particularly important unless you care about high-end PvE like pushing mythic+ dungeons and mythic raiding. A guild can get through normal and heroic versions of raids easily without minmaxing at all assuming they have any degree of skill.

Battlegrounds are in a weird spot. Almost every spec can do well, including a few that have NEVER been viable before. But some are far better than others, arms warriors and havoc demonhunters are currently way above everyone else. The new stat template system has largely (but not entirely) removed the effect of gear so every character of a given spec has almost the same exact stats, customization instead comes from the honor talents which are just a second talent tree that work only in PvP. Some specs have a lot of viable options and choices here, some are extremely cookie cutter. As someone who stopped raiding after BC and has purely played battlegrounds since Wrath (skipped MoP and WoD though) I think PvP is in an overall better place than it has been at any point since BC. The only thing really dragging it down is the severe imbalance with 4 specs dominating all the rest, I haven't played 7.3 so I don't know if that changed anything.

The problem with memeforging isn't that a casual player has a .00000000000005% chance of getting something mythic raid tier. The issue is that you can consistently get Mythic-quality gear just doing the heroic versions of raids than through slogging through mythic.

Here's how to fix the system:
