The first game was very charming, but barebones. Second game had a lot more going on, but it lost its hold on some of that charm. Hear the third games loses even more of the charm I felt in the first but has even more going on including some core gameplay improvements so I'm gonna give it a try whenever it comes westward. I just hope they don't waste time with Busters, personally I don't care about it at all and would rather just have YW3 next year.

What happened to Yokai Watch in Japan? I remeber it being poised to beat out pokemon in popularity amd now I hear almost nothing from them.

That cover looks like absolute dogshit. Not the character designs, whatever we want to agree the quality those are. I mean the actual design of the cover looks like they just barfed characters onto it. Nothing looks distinct and it all just blends together. Screams "fuck, just put everything on it, try to grab as many people as you can." You shouldn't judge things by their covers, but things like this don't make things look good either way.

I miss Yokai Watch General, it was pretty comfy and nice.
