It sucks that everyone praises BotW for switching to open-world, but the open-world elements are it's weakest part. Everyone talked about the characters, some of the set pieces, shit like that, grinding shrines and korok seeds were the weakest parts, and variety of shit in general suffered. After the initial 'wow' moments of seeing how big everything is compared to typical Zelda, you quickly realize how boring and samey it all is outside of scripted shit.

The only thing that made the game go from a 9 to an 7 for me was the rushed out ending. It is missing another dungeon for sure, and Atlus are going to jew us out with another version of the game with the possibility to upgrade for 30 bucks or so, and we will only get 1-2 new dungeons, extra ending, and probably Lavenza and true igor social link.

If someone really feels that the ending can be compared to the never-ending-climax of persona 4, you must have a shitty taste for endings.

And also that you can't call someone in the Metaverse, so she had to pre-record her message to Sae. We also know Goro managed to take the entire police force into the Metaverse with him, so being in close vicinity is all it takes.

So Sae was definitely in the Metaverse, but still can't understand Morgana.

I actually expected it because There was no explanation for morgana, mementos, and the existential questions that justine and caroline had all the time also I expected to keep going on since it was way to early in the calendar.

Also, I expected good ending to be the straight foward one that the game guided you trough and keep the true ending as something that you need to do specific shit to trigger. That is why in my opinion persona 4 is 10 times better than persona 5 history wise.

Maybe. I took the reveal that Akechi was able to hear Morgana as extra spooky because I took that to mean that he had heard Morgana speak in the Metaverse, meaning that he had already been following them at that point in the story.

The ending definitely felt rushed from Sae to Shido.

HOWEVER

What >>388795340 says is how I feel as well. Shido was built up as the big bad and then it just flipped it in a way I didn't see coming and I was definitely grateful for the extra game.

I'll add to that the bit after you go to jail and the team rescue you, and Morgana comes back was really nice, as well as the bitter-sweet valentines day and late March epilogue bits. Not many games do that, and I was pleasantly surprised. It elevated the daily life and friendships aspect of the game massively to the point where finishing it really felt like saying goodbye.

Akechi heard Morgana irl despite never having heard him in the Metaverse. I guess him having seen all sorts of shadows and cognitions is why, because if it were as simple as entering the Metaverse, Sae would have understood him too.

When the pancake scene first happened, I just took it to suggest Akechi had perhaps accidentally stumbled upon the Metaverse. Never thought he'd really be the bad guy. And I was nice to him as well.
