You can't make gaming laptops worth it
You can't even make any laptop worth it actually

Just get a console, and I do mean that.

I doubt it could even get most games up to 144 fps
Asus makes a fucking damn good laptop. Only buy a gaming laptop if your like me and you spend 15-40% of the year living out of hotels.

This. I work three weeks out of town, one week at home. I bought an Asus Strix a couple months ago, and I'm loving it so far. I'm not a framerate fag like half the people on this board, but everything I've played has run very smoothly so far.

You guys are slacking

Probably more recent than my ROG G751JY which already maxes everything ever and can handle VR without slowdowns.
Great rig, still hate that big "Republic of gamers" logo that's everywhere.
Apart from that, they tend to be a bit big but that's about it. The ventilation being on the back and not underneath like most laptops is a really nice touch.

oh yeah, one thing to look out for. Some of these laptops come with Optimus technology. Whatever you do, do not get one with Optimus technology. DO NOT GET ONE WITH OPTIMUS TECHNOLOGY.

The only thing I fucking hate about my Y50 is it has bottom ventilation. When my hotel room doesn't have a desk I have to use it on the bed and I have to awkwardly prop it up so it doesn't go full blown on fire.

That would only be acceptable if you librebooted it and installed gentoo. Even then it'd be gay.

Its a laptop.
reminder neet neckbeards CANNOT refute this pic

Shit man, I feel for you. Previous laptop was a bottom breather too, had to grab a ventilated laptop stand. Not comfy but beats becoming a big ball of fire.
