Before the furfags show up:
Keep every improvement from New Leaf, except make it so villagers actually contribute significant funds to PWPs. Make more areas you can visit and do shit like the Island, maybe the woods or a ski resort. Make it easier to lay down design tiles, and double or triple the amount of dialogue in the game.

Can't really think of anything else New Leaf did wrong.

There needs to just be more you can do in the game in general. Also more ways to interact with villagers. Like be able to do various things with villagers.

I'd like to see the game a bit more adventure-y.

Have something to do in the game besides completing pseudo-dailies.

what i hope to see in Animal Crossing Switch:

1. weekly or monthly updates like Splatoon/2 gets. add in new dialogue each time like Splatoon.
2. add a few new items from time to time.

that's my requirements. for bonus: being able to move the camera more, seamless online (no having some stuff closed because of opening your town), bigger inventory or dedicated slots for tools

Switch is absolutely getting an installment eventually, and I wouldn't be surprised to see AC:CG as a launch game for the rumored GCN virtual console

All I want is an option to make a villager some sort of favorite that doesn't leave, like a "best friend" thing so it feels less hamfisted. That alone would make it my favorite. Just one villager too.

I'd like to be able to visit my friend's towns via walking down a hub of crossroads whenever I want, regardless of whether they're playing or not.

To prevent trolling, the Mayor of the Town can set rules for visitors (from as restrictive as "can't do anything but talk to villagers and buy from the shop" to letting them have more or less free reign).

I'd really like it if they removed the rolling log style of the newer games. I'd prefer either the old acre system or the acre system without the screen transitions. Because the rolling log is just shit.

The option to have sex with villagers. Turn it into some sort of minigame. Showing the full on penetration of course.

You get to select a climate/topography/area for your town that affects things like wildlife variety, fruit and plant yield, housing styles, and neighbor preference as well as each getting their own side area akin to the island or the City. It'll encourage travel and trade between players since now you can't just do EVERYTHING with your town.

>Conversations

As you get more emotions from Shrunk, you can utilize them when interacting with neighbors, influencing how chats and requests play out depending on your and their mood.
