I still don't understand why people like this game

It's just so fucking boring
You have like four units and you just build and build and build them, form the up to a blob and send them in the enemies base so they all die and maybe take down a turret, and then you repeat that ad infinitum until you won

And every time you bring up how shit this game is some retard goes and posts a webm of the minimap where a bunch of triangles fly around and that is somehow supposed to show how the game is not the most boring dogshit in existence
Also all the factions are the same and the campaign is terrible

i have been an rts fan since the dawn of the genre (AoE and C&C) yet i never liked SupCom
i dont know why i never managed to like it
i played it until vomit yet i just cant get into it
i dont know what it is it just puts me off

Maybe it's Seinfield syndrome where you have seen things derived from the source so much that watching the original it just seems super generic or something

But honestly the game just seems very bad

It's basically "pikmin but evil and in third person"
It's fun but the plor of the second game becomes predictable if you've completed the first game.
They're excellent titles, I've replayed them a few times; but Raising Hell makes the game's flaws much more apparent and compounded. and in the second game it's not clear on how to exit the spider temple (on the last wall switch series, set a green on a spider on guard on the last/second last button, and THEN run your spider through the course as normal.
