if not, probably not unless they were some NPC/social link. If the party if trying to be incognito, a black party member would be very obvious who it was and by extension who everyone is.

The devs should make the game they intend on making. Nothing annoys me more than artists compromising their work to adhere to some pretend prerequisites. If there are black, or Muslim, or gay, or whatever characters, then that's perfectly fine in my eyes. As long as that's what they wanted from the beginning.

I think that'd be kinda neat. I mean I expect a full Japanese cast but if they threw in a wacky, black foreigner or a half black-half japanese character, it could add a cool dimension of culture and character development, maybe his/her social link could be focused on culture shock or trying to fit in. We totally could've gotten more of that with Ann but she was too busy eating cheesecake, Mika tears, and Akira dick to focus on more than "people in high school look at me funny"

I don't really care as long as it doesn't take away from the main story or the character's social link. I've never had a problem with black characters in games. I do have a problem when being black or another minority affects the character's dialogue and story.

Why is there never a push to make characters Latino or Arab? Why is it always black? I'm not white but I'm also not black and I feel like blacks are becoming overrepresented diversity wise in media. Diversity doesn't mean just blacks.
