Is this game actually good or should I cancel my pre-order?

Most people who've played it were underwhelmed, even by Senran Kagura standards.

Did they finally give any solid release date other than "summer 2017"?
Summer is ending in less than a month and the game is still not out, shame really as it seems like something that would really fit the season.
