Speaking of Bayonetta, I've recently finished a playtrough of it and it's really not that great, definitely not up to par with DMC, though it introduces some genuinely interesting and new mechanic, there's just a lot of chaff in between, like those forced minigame sections.
Also I feel like the story pacing is really abrupt and happens at an odd pace where the moments that where supposed to leave you in awe, don't really feel like that. Maybe it's just me though.
