Why did Cortez stop morphing into a period correct character while time travelling after the space station got destroyed?

different time travel method?
who knows, in the end the narrative only improved with him being himself.
the level design of the campaign is a different matter, I really liked the vagueness and anthological feel of the campaign in 2.

The campaign in 2 was just an afterthought, and the campaign in FP was every bit as anthological.

This is my favorite game of all time
>Playing Future Perfect at my dad's house
>First scene where Cortez talks to himself
>Dad's buddy sees this without knowing the context
>Just says, "Vin Diesel is... Everyone"
16 year old me got a good laugh from that.

Oh wait, apparently it's still coming this year. I thought it was dead after they announced that they had to develop it in Cryengine.

Even if 2's campaign was an after thought I liked it more than FP.
While the narrative of FP was goofy and light hearted the levels tone and atmosphere were mostly dark, foreboding, and kinda drab.
2 was all over the place each level but having each level in a setting completely unique kept the whole campaign fresh.

FP also had no variation between campaign levels. There were like 3 settings.

Which perfectly describes TS2 as well. I'm guessing nostalgia goggles.

other than mars Aztec and especially wild west you're totally right. Every other level was night, rainy, spooky etc
