The combat is objectively trash. Time stop during combat should be better like ff12, spells shouldn't hurt u and parry by default, each party member should have their own technique gauge and you shouldn't have to fucking pause in order to change their current techniques

Bought recently deluxe edition on Xbone. Started by watching Kingsglaive & Broterhood. Kingsglaive was awesome, Broterhood was just character's background done pretty well.

Still.. setting/story for now is really good. I love how they mixed classic FF concepts (warriors of light, crystal, monarchy) with modern stuff.
Characters are cool personality-wise as well. Mixture of 'we do what we have to do' with simple broism is a fresh breath of air.
Yes, combat is as satisfying as you will make it. You can just hold a single button but when you start warping and mixing weapons it gets satisfying.

Btw. Is thereanything else I should watch/read to get more backstory?
