I mean it's not unbelievable that there could be a few Yoshis or even visiting Piantas and Nokis, but it'd be such a pointless detail. It'd be doing just for the sake of it, just to say "ok, I've proven that I know there are other races in the Mario universe." Which isn't to say that it wouldn't be nice to do, but there's no obligation to be held here. The people in the crowd are not the point of this cutscene.
