Why the hell I can't do no damage? It seems every mission is out of my league. I'm level 20, 7 hours in, playing assassin. I have upgraded some weapons but I always get destroyed by almost anything.

Depends are you doing no damage to mobs or bosses? Bosses on your first game cycle are a bitch to do until you get post game and ever fall weapons. You also want to be attack boss weak points to do damage and off the top of my head

Not a boss but stupid huge health bars they're not really weak to anything but they catch on fire easy and if you have a female pawn it will distract it and let you wail on it. Use the environment too bait them into attacking off cliffs (they don't have any worthwhile drops) or use fire barrels

Those are all the bosses I can think of off the top of my head that you'll meet early early on and anything past these will be pretty intuitive for their weak points. Closing note most damage comes from using skills not basic light and heavy attacks so be sure to use skills as much as your stamina will allow.

Sorcerer only really gets good once you reach the last bit of the vocation. The later spells are nice, but the lack of mobility and time required to cast made it a very "meh" experience for me.

Pure fighter is where it's at. Using Dragon Maw, Sheltered Assault and Soul Skewer never gets old. Nor does launching loli pawns 200 feet in the air with Springboard/Launchboard.

If you don't like it you can easily move into Assassin/Mystic Knight.

As someone undergeared and underleveled for say, BBI, it is almost literally impossible to kill certain enemies because of their flat damage reduction. You'll only hit for 1 damage on enemies which might have 40.000 HP.

The game doesn't let you outskill anything at a lower level, its all about how good the equipment is that you've grinded for, and to a lesser degree your stats.

Dark Arisen basically adds new story content and a new dungeon to explore. You should be able to buy a Dark Arisen copy used for cheap and it'll transfer your existing save over, I think. But the pc version is considered the superior option regardless.

Assassin is a more melee-focused Strider and has more growth in Strenght, but stats are somewhat negligible in the long run.

If you're not planning on using swords/shields you should stick with Strider or level up Fighter/Ranger a few time for their augments.

You can literally buy an infinite supply of strong healing items for cheap once you reach Gran Soren. Let alone that you can simply pause the game and heal yourself, without any animation what so ever.

Casting Anodyne takes forever to cast and once it finally is up, it takes a long ass time to heal (and only the grey area at that). There's a reason people prefer hiring Sorcerers over Mages.

If you're Warrior, there's no real reason to play Hard Mode if you don't want too. Pawns are not affected by Hard Mode difficulty and BBI 2.0 becomes the same easy shit in the end anyway.
