I think the argument that the shark cards fund development is flawed. Designing vehicles for games is not that expensive. Unless your little brother is lying to you or plays the game every day for hours on end the only way he could have it all is if a hacker gave him money or he used one of the glitches that were available. The activity that gives you the most money in the game is a heist which takes about 2 or so hours to complete and only rewards about 1.5 million dollars which you then have to split between 4 people because no ones gonna wanna do the mission for free. To get that airplane in ops post which would take you 3 of those heist to get if everyone you played with let you keep the money you still need at the very least another 1.2 million to buy a hanger which is another one of those heist. This games grind is worse than most f2p games like warframe except you have to pay 60 bucks just to get in.

Nah, nothing against or in favor of R*, but they clearly exploit consumer eagerness to get the newest toys, and make them think they'll get that back if they do the new stuff, because they know casuals will never bothe, and they never do.
I've been doing all from Heists, VIP, CEO, MC, Exp/Imp and Gunrunning, and while not swimming in money, I always manage to get the stuff I want and keep a work flow that prevents me from getting bored of any of those activities, though I admit, I rarely do heardhunter or sightseer anymore.
